My experiences growing up in Nigeria really shaped my passion for education and helping people access opportunities that can open doors for them. Along the way, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about technical skills it’s also about confidence, communication, leadership, and having people who support you. I hope you guys see this space as somewhere you can learn, ask questions, make mistakes, connect with others, discover opportunities, and grow. You don’t have to have everything figured out. Just come ready to learn and make the most out of the opportunities available to you. Operations Manager, TBE Nigeria

Favour Eboigbe is the Operations Manager at The Balanced Engineer (TBE), where she builds the operational infrastructure and systems that connect tech and AI mentors with young engineers. She is also a content strategist and writer with four years of experience across SEO content writing, strategy, and writing coaching, and is currently completing her degree at the National Open University of Nigeria. Alongside her operations work, she has worked with and solved content and communication challenges across industries including tech, e-commerce, legal institutions, and community-building organizations, bringing a versatile, cross-industry perspective to her role. This range now shapes how she designs and runs operations at TBE.

Semilore Olawuyi is the Content and Community Lead at The Balanced Engineer (TBE). She studied Mass Communication at Redeemer’s University and currently works in the Operations Department of an insurance company. With experience across media, social media management, content creation, and customer service, she has worked with organisations across different industries, including leading media houses, giving her a strong understanding of the media, content, and digital space. She has also completed courses in marketing and content creation, and brings her diverse experience into her work at TBE, where she leads content and community initiatives.

Senior UX/UI Product Designer - AI with 10+ years of experience guiding design teams and shaping product strategy at the intersection of human-centered design and artificial intelligence. Recently completing an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University. Skilled at leading designers through full product cycles from research and accessibility-first design systems to high-fidelity prototypes while driving measurable gains in conversion, task completion, and user satisfaction. Good with AI-aware design practice across cross-functional Agile teams. An active mentor and community builder in Chicago's tech and design scene.
