How we handle your information on TBE OS.

What we collect and why

TBE OS collects the information you provide and the activity needed to run the platform — your name and email (used to sign you in), the profile details you choose to add (bio, education, skills, projects, links, resume), your cohort enrollment, and your learning activity such as assignments, attendance, certificates, and session participation. We use this only to operate the platform: to power your dashboard and profile, connect you with mentors and your cohort, and help our team support your journey.

We do not sell your data

The Balanced Engineer does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Your information is used to deliver the TBE experience to you and is accessible to authorized TBE staff for program support and administration.

Your profile is yours

You own your profile content and control what appears in the community directory through your profile visibility setting. You can edit or remove the details you’ve added at any time from your profile. Files such as your resume are kept private to you and are not shown on your public profile.

Account security

Accounts are protected by secure, industry-standard authentication. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, reset your password and contact your TBE administrator right away. See the Support page for help.
